Commercial – Companies Act 2006 – Draft Forms and Guidance – Model Articles – Draft Registrar’s Rules

Companies House has, on the 1st of July 2009, published the draft forms and guidance in relation to the Companies Act 2006 (“the Act”). The forms and guidance will be used from the 1st of October 2009 when the implementation of the Act is complete.

However, it should be noted that the forms and guidance at this stage are only in draft form, and therefore individuals and businesses should bear in mind that they are subject to amendment.

Furthermore, Companies House has published the Model Articles and the draft Registrar's Rules on its website. New requirements relating to any document that is delivered to the Registrar of Companies (whether in electronic form, paper form, on CD-ROM, on DVD-ROM or by any electronic means) are detailed in the draft Registrar’s Rules.
