Appointment As DTi Assessor
RT Coopers Solicitors are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Rosanna Cooper as a DTI Assessor for the Investigating an Innovative Idea scheme administered by the Small Business Service. Dr Rosanna Cooper has been appointed as a mentor and expert for the Grant for Investigating an Innovative Idea scheme (III Grant). The III Grant offers help to small and medium-sized businesses and individuals to plan the development of an innovative product, process or service.
A grant may be available to help fund consultancy costs for expert help on a range of issues including technology, marketing and organisational factors that can be necessary for successful implementation of the innovative idea. The grant will be 75% of the project mentor and consultancy costs on the condition that the business spends at least twice as many days working on the project as the mentor and expert consultant. The maximum grant will be £12,000 but only the largest and most complex projects will be approved at this level. Most grants will be between £2,500 and £7,000.
